The Department of Trade and Industry (dti) and the Association of Transformation in Film and Television (ATFT) are taking a delegation of black South African filmmakers to the Toronto International Fim Festival in Canada from the 10th to the 20th of September. We will putting up a stand under the South African Indies trademark for all South Africans in attendance to make use of and also advertise South Africa as a co-production and shooting destination. Delegates will be assisted by us to meet appropriate investors, co-producers, sales agents or distributors for their films in development, production or completed.
ATFT in partnership with Redflag Design put together a catalogue for TIFF with our delegates and their projects which will be available in print at the stand and sent to the accredited buyers at the festival.

Industry Conference is a seven-day professional development opportunity for our registered delegates.
